Synopsis:

A is a 1998 movie directed by Upendra. It starred Upendra and Chandni as the lead couple.
It was the first film of Upendra, as well as Gurukiran’s first film as music directon

The film was a hit and broke some records, earning Rs 200 million.
It was described by a reviewer as “loud and disjointed, like the ramblings of a delirious mind, but made a lot of sense”. Its design also received some praise.
It provoked some controversy over anti-women remarks and was alleged to contain autobiographical element.

Plot Summary:

Gopika (Kamalini) is a doctor. She runs a floating hospital on river Godavari. The boat tours the entire coast of the river and serves the patients. The running of the hospital is being taken care of and funded by an NGO. One Shyam (Kalyan), who has completed his MS in the US learns about the hospital and reaches India to run a similar service near Srisailam. Shyam loses his heart at first sight to Gopika. But the latter refuses his marriage proposal.

At this juncture, Gopika accidentally meets Gopi (Venu) over phone, which was forgotten by her close friend. Soon Gopika comes to know from Gopi that her close friend committed suicide. Gopika’s friendship with Gopi continues over phone and they keep talking hours together. Soon they fall in love.

Their plans to meet each other fail due to some circumstances. Gopika’s mother (Jayalalitha) who believed that Gopika is talking to Shyam till then learns that it was not Shyam but Gopi. She wants to see Gopi. Unfortunately, Gopi, who was coming to meet Gopika, loses his memory after being attacked by some goons. Gopika saves him and treats him not knowing that he is Gopi and she names him Prabhu. Does Gopi regains memory? Who does Gopika marries at the end? Watch out!

Story Line:

Vamsi is a wayward orphan who rescues Chandra Mohan in an accident. Candramohan brings vamsi (Naveen) and treat same as his son Krishna (Srikanth). Both becomes good friends and inseperable. Vamsi has a drinking habit. Seeta (Malavika) a small village girl comes to Hyderabad for searching a job and gets job in Vamsi company. Seeta while going back gets lift from Vamsi, who tries to rape her, but she escapes from Vamsi. Later Vamsi realizes and tell krishna  his mistake , stop drinking and wishes to marry seeta. Meantime Chandramohan visits his friends daughter marriage and fixes marriage with Seeta to his son krishna.Now it’s Vamsi turn to OK Seeta for Krishna.  After marriage when Vamsi and Seeta face each other, they recollect  the incident and seeta decides to make Vamsi life miseriable with her clever manipulations.The rest of the movie is what happens to Seeta, Vamsi and Krishna.

Story Line :

Chandu (jagapathi Babu) comes to the village as a grand son to meet his grand parents. But their grand parents are enemies as his parents got love marriage. After few weeks Nirmala (Ravali) comes as Chandu wife, but actually Chandu is unmarried . But she make believe everyone that she is Chandu wife, later when chandu insists she reveals that Chandu who acted as grand son is not real and Nirmala is happens to be real grand daughter. The rest of the movie is why chandu acted as a grand son and what happens when it is revealed.
