Bhakti, living in a small village of Gujarat and was labeled as unlucky, because her mother died giving birth to her, her father refused to see her face  and just walked away. She was raised by her Nani. To give Bhakti  hope & strength, Nani tells Bhakti  that God is her father,mother & friend, also presents her with an idol of the Baby Lord Krishna which Bhakti accepts whole heartedly & calls it Gopal. When she grows up being unwell Nani brings Bhakti  to Ahmedabad  to her father house, he trows them out of the house. They reside in a temple and coincidence five Bahus meet Bhakti  and decide she is right choice for their youngest Devar. They want a simple girl for him and who would not ask for equal share of the property as their youngest devar was too simple & obedient to ask for any thing.
